I might be in the same boat as a lot of people who design websites when I say I wish I'd come across Browsershots a bit sooner.
How often have web designers had to log on to different machines to test websites in different browsers? Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome and Apple Safari are just some of the browsers that a website would need testing in. There's a lot more here though if you want to see the whole list.
Browsershots allows websites to be tested in different browsers in just a few minutes and you don't even have to move from your computer.
The way it works is simple - type in your website URL and, thanks to several computers running different browser platforms, the website will produce screenshots of how your website looks on different browsers. Try it out.
One of the latest features of the site is the CSS and Web Design Showcase. It claims to be the largest and most-updated CSS and web design gallery on the internet with more than 30,000 designs for inspiration. If you're stuck for ideas it's well worth a look to get your creative juices flowing.
